About This Sacrament
The Sacrament of Matrimony establishes a permanent covenant between a man and a woman, blessed by God for mutual support and the procreation of children. Catholic marriage reflects Christ’s love for His Church and requires proper preparation and commitment.
- Schedule
Weddings are celebrated on appointment. Contact the parish office to schedule.
- Requirements
- Both parties must be free to marry in the Catholic Church
- At least one party must be a baptized Catholic
- Marriage preparation course (minimum 6 months)
- Meeting with parish priest at least 6 months before wedding

- Baptism certificates (recent, within 6 months)
- Confirmation certificates
- Civil marriage license (optional)
- Pre-Cana or marriage preparation certificate
- Affidavit of freedom to marry
